This is my first ever FumeFx let alone 3DS Max Project. The grid needs to be bigger and a little change of light and color but in general the shape is ok. Tell me what you think :)
@TheDuckCow haha i used to have 3ds max before but it wasnt any use for me (i wanted to model and modeling is way easier with cinema 4d) but no program has a good particle system that can make good flames. 3ds max has this plugin which works in itself, fumefx, and it just needs max to create the particles and render out if you know what i mean. anyway you can control the amount of fire, smoke, and fuel in ur flame, and u can change it over time to get different results. very cool :))
so what, you've gotten yet another modeling program?
Certainly looks good... is FumeFx like a modifier/preset with options, or is it more like a refined particle system? I've only attempted to make fumes once and it looked horribly static, untextured, and generally bad, but this looks great :)
