Detection Tripwire Video Analytics Example

Dedicated Micros Detection Tripwire solution enables operators to quickly and easily set up virtual tripwires, either along existing fence lines or in areas where physical security is impossible or impractical (railway tracks, access routes). Alarms can be enabled in either (or both) directions across the tripwire. Real-time identifi cation of an intruder crossing a software-generated threshold can often mean the difference between pro-active and re-active action being taken.

Typical applications include protection of sites with controlled access to critical areas (Airport Perimeters, Power Stations), monitoring of traffic flow (illegal entrance to one way streets), can be coupled with ANPR, alert operators / staff should a restricted zone be entered without authorization (Unmanned Level Crossings).
