Arrestatie op de Marnixlaan, Utrecht

Op 17 juli 2009 vond er op de Marnixlaan in Utrecht een arrestatie plaats.
Met getrokken pistolen haalde de politie 3 verdachten uit een auto.
Zij werden er van verdacht een vuurwapen in de auto te hebben.
Dit bleek achteraf niet zo te zijn.

@Djrepsaj Some cities in the US, like LA are notorious for rough arrests and they could learn from your countrymen. You chose to reply with a racial comment then a blanket statement about our police not caring then moved on to guns then called me a smartass American leading me to believe you had a low opinion of me and my countrymen. My reply was not all our cops are bad or racists and most people in the US are kind and generous while others around the world just talk. I am a smartass though.

@lawnsausages You see the USA is alot bigger than this country, and we don't have aircraft carriers. But I've seen our C130's flying to Haiti with food and supplies, yet this isn't the point of this discussion. I'm sorry but what are you trying to make clear? If you say there are exceptions, than why make such a comment? I've seen the police of the netherlands in action, and I know they aren't easy if you done a big crime. This doesn't look like the arrest of a murderer

@Djrepsaj You missed my point. Yes there are way to many guns here, that is why the videos you see often show the police overreacting. These videos are the exception though; thousands of police interactions happen everyday without incident. It's evident you have a low opinion of the US. I ask you... Who was first to Indonesia and Haiti with aircraft carriers full of food and supplies? I donated $50 to each and almost everyone I know gave something totaling $250 million, how about your country?

@FilmpjesUitVakU030 Naja, het komt niet letterlijk op je cv te staan. Maar een gat van een aantal maanden of zelfs jaren is nogal lastig om uit te leggen. Bovendien zijn werkgevers wel zo vriendelijk om even te googelen naar toekomstige werknemers... wie weet kan er dus zoiets te boven... dat is dan niet echt handig.. groetjess

Dit is een redelijk nette arrestatie. In Amerika, of, dichterbij, in Frankrijk, gaat het er voor veel minder al veel ruwer aan toe. Nederland is nog steeds een aardig braaf landje, met relatief weinig geweld en criminaliteit. HOu daarbij in het oog dat een samenleving zonder geweld een fantasie is: dat bestaat niet!
