equal parenting should be the starting point but if one parent isnt fit and proven unfit then the other party should have custody etc

why doesnt the court implement this? also why make a man pay child support if he is willing to raise his own child and pay for the childs needs? family courts are so wrong about everything

all i can say is keep un biased well organized logs write everything without emotion emphsize what is best for the child and keep a cool head and keep your attorney happy

I would say that is kidnapping pmamtpi so fight her on everything you can. Get the state involved saying you seen her with her intoxicated drinks with the children around. Hope it works.

what kind of custody ordered agreement makes a big difference. Where you married. Do you have an order in court? If so, she must get approval from court before she moves. This is a contempt. Check with state revised code for change in custody. If no order in court, best to get started. Remember, care+control=custody.

the mother of my kids left our home i stayed and kept our home that we have had for 2years. she left the county and school district and i have pics and phrases of her drinking on myspace. the cops said let her go its a court matter..do u think i can win with the simple facts that my child was taken out of the school district? and that she left me no contact number of anything therof?

if $ is the problem, filing for visitation will run $150+ for court hearing. you can do this on your own and visitation should be granted at a standard weekend rotation with 1 day weekly. start small then try "agreed entry." more time with child the better especially overnites.

if you pay child support then visitation should be automatic.

you pay for the service you get meaning money talks. $100-$150 hourly is mid-range. this will handle the basics like getting non residential visitation and other basic services (total <$2000). but $200+ maybe needed for harder battles like full custody. I'm at $30,000+. What is your child's welfare worth to you is the question. pay now or pay more later.
