@flippedmysled its the turbo de-spooling. very common in manual diesels. very easy to hear with the cummins as you can tell especially with the silencer ring removed

why the hell does the turbo sound like its screamin when you let offf the throttle to shift doesnt it whistle when you give it throttle not let off of it or is that just the sound of the wastegate

I've never been familiar with the gearing of diesels, are they set up like a creeper gear for pulling and what not until 4th?

Since this video...3000GSK, HX35/40 turbo, custom #100 fuel plate (full forward), lowered two inches, fluid damper, 4 inch exhaust (with resonator), and boost elbow. In this video's trim she did a 17.4 in the quarter mile. My best with the new mods is 15.89!

Yes. I was shifting at about 2300 RPM. I now have a governor spring kit which fuels to 3000 RPM before I need to shift (this gives me much better acceleration than in this video).
