I know this is an old thread but when I read all of those negative comments olivia4058 left I cannot just let it go. Do not say "those of us who live here know.." as if you and the rest of Nashville have the same opinion. Obviously Nashville voted her 2nd most attractive AND she had one hell of a successful run with Always, Patsy Cline.

Mandy is fabulous and you have no idea how lucky you were to be able to encounter such a wonderful and caring woman. Maybe you are the one with the problem..

great voice. but does modern country want this classic kind of sound? I stopped buying country in the 90s when it dumped the traditional sound . now its rock with an acooutic guitar

I met her a few time when I lived in Nashville, and she was always such a sweetheart!I think the reason Nashville doesn't "get" her is because she does things on her own terms and well it's not ok to do that in such a sexist boystown as Nashville. Trust me, I've met established stars in Nashville who weren't half as nice as Mandy.Perhaps when you met her she was having a bad day.Did you think about that?

If she didn't have such a horrible personality, her career would have taken off in Nashville, but those of us who live here know her and she's not a very nice person. In fact, she is one of the biggest snoots I've ever had the unfortunate chance to be introduced to.
