Kelsey Shannon was a 13 year old girl from Broomfield, CO. She disappeared on the night of October 14th, 2008, after a disagreement with her parents about her friends. Kelsey went for a walk after asking her mom to make her favorite dinner, and never came home. Her body was found January 21st in a ditch near her house. Her 18 year old boyfriend has been arrested for possibly murdering kelsey.
~~~ I am not related to Kelsey, I didn't even know her. Her story has left an imprint on me. Her body was found not very far away from where I live, in an area where me and many other people wallk by all the time. Anybody could have found her. You hear of these stories in the news every day, but you never really think it will happen THIS close to you.. and then it does. My heart, thoughts, and prayers go out to Kelsey and her family. Nobody deserves this and I hope her case is justified. Whoever did this to her needs to get what they deserve. All I can say is that Kelsey was a beautiful girl, and it sounds like she was loved by so many. Rest in peace Kelsey.~~~

My great grandfather died the 2nd day of my 7th grade year... The year he was going to visit me if i got a's and b's. Well i got a's and b's this quarter. Well hes not here yet... He will never be. He died from cancer at 86. He was done fighting but in the retirment home when he couldnt go to sleep. The nurses gave him some medicine to fall asleep and never woke up after that... I miss him alot. He was the best grandpa ever. You will always be in my heart... :(
