@JemmetGK Well with Darth Vader, and more preperation. They could pretty easily beat the Klingons. They underestimated the Ewoks. It was guerrilla warfare. Just like vietnam. But with preperation, the Empire could wipe out the Klingons. And with Vader, the Klingons are pretty fucked. And yes I am reading into this to much, and I'm not trying sound angry. But these are valid reasons for the Klingons defeat to the Galactic Empire.
