CMT - Compact Machine Tender

Remtecs Compact Machine Tender delivers add-on robotic tending to any machine tool. Our CMT-Series robots support many configurations and sizes of machine tools and are designed to be interfaced to any existing machine. The CMT, which is mounted on guide rails, can easily be moved to the side, providing operator access for tooling changes.

System Specifications:
- Fanuc 6-axis LR Mate robot with a stroke in excess of 700mm
- Dual-part grippers for machine-interrupt times under 5 seconds
- User-friendly, touch-screen operator interface for rapid changeover
- Tool-wear tracking with service alerts and automatic work stoppage
- Infeed & outfeed belt conveyors to queue parts to / from robot

Available Options:
- Part weight in excess of 4kg and strokes over 1.3m can be accommodated
- Infeed/outfeed solutions including shuttles, dials and vibratory bowls
- Machine vision guidance and conveyor tracking for random part input
- Network I/O for machine tool / CMT interface: I/O Link, DeviceNet, Profibus, Ethernet (EIP or EGD), CC-Link, FTP, Genius & A/B RIO
