If you look at that as a percentage, parents are very successful compared to pitbull maulings and killings. If a parent does kill his/her child, they get put in jail for a very long time.

Owners of pitbulls who kill children get a citation, fine, and maybe jail if they have a crappy lawyer. Don't say "its the pitbull owner's fault" when all they get a slap on the wrist for killing a child.

@Laura21701 You've missed the point. You stated that the dog of yours that bit you was not a pit and did not (obviously) kill you. If it HAD BEEN a pit, I doubt you could say that. That he COULD HAVE killed you is irrelevant. That he DIDN'T kill you is the point.

Oh, and my dog didn't have weak nerves; he was upset by the wrestling and wanted it to stop. He didn't understand it was play and thought I might have been hurting the children.

@MultiDingos Yeah, and in the United States OVER 2000 children are murdered by their parents every year. Hundreds of thousands are killed in car wrecks. Tens of thousands are killed by gun violence. Dont you think we should be paying a LITTLE more attention to that?
