Wasted a decade of my life in this career. The stories I could tell! STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THE FLDOC. There is a reason why alot of them are alcoholics, steriod using, drug induced pin heads that only know how to take orders without any damn common sense. If you want to get in trouble for doing your job, then by all means. The administration will take a convicted felon's word over someone with a perfect record anyday. I am not speaking for the DOC ofcoarse, these are my views.

That goes to say for any State's DoC; workers get paid crappy wages to take care of the scum of the earth that NO ONE else wants to do with. Judges lock them away far far away from everyone else, C.O.s protect us from them and they get treated like crap by their State politicians. NOT WORTH IT!!!  RIP Jayme Biendl, WA DoC. Gone, but not forgotten.

I have 30 years in this SUCKING JOB.Stay AWAY,FAR AWAY from the FLORIDA DEPARTMENT of CORRECTIONS.The department is a PATHETIC excuse for a job. You will get ZERO ba cking from the administrations across the state & now if Govenor Scotts budget passes your retirement & benefits are GONE as well. PLEASE listen & find another CAREER "FAR" FAR" AWAY from ANYTHING to do with the FLORIDA DEPARTMENT of CORRECTIONS! You will have the INMATES & the ADMINISTRATION "AGAINST" YOU! NO CONTROL ALLOWED!
