Michael was more creative and original, break dancing started on the early 70s. So it wasnt really well known when MJ was around so he created his own smooth inspirational dance moves. Dance evolved to what is right now and a lot of it is inspired from MJ. Chris brown can do more but he learned that he didn't create it. MJ did that's why he's better. No MJ no chris brown period

Personally i prefer MJ. CB can do krumping and flipping which does have a certain wow factor to it but i have seen many people krump and i have seen similar if not better krumpers than chris. but no-one can do MJ moves quite like or better than him.
you can't ignore that if you put MJ into a crowd of people dancing like him, you would be able to spot him but you do the same with chris brown i don't think you could.
i do think it is unfair to compare though, their styles are so different.
