Holyfield is one of the all time greats, boxing true warrior, beat Tyson, BusterDouglas,Bowe, Georgeformean ,He was a crusier, and went up to Heavy weight to fight with much bigger oppents, and he won the heavyweight title 5 times, so, fuck all the haters, Evander is the Real deal.Hes got some of the best classic fights.

Holyfield always gave the fans great fights, fought the best fighters of his era, never duct or dodge nobody and even in his losses he alaways made great fight with the fighters he faced.......... .............. Holyfield (probably) used HGH. His heart defect? Probably due to using HGH. Look at his physique (his traps in particular), again, probably due to HGH.

Ha - I don't take it personally, lolol - it's called being courteous. You know, thinking about what you say before you say it? @mikeiron no. i would say in those 4 years of prime, with rooney (without rooney tyson lets be hoenst was just power.. no skill) was a better boxer than holy. faster, more power, harder to hit (in his prime, tho holy was always easy to hit). ofc holy beat mike when they met. post prison tyson was a shell. im not saying holy is not a good fighter. he clearly is. but all time great? no way, beat no prime fighters.

Met Holyfield when he was 45 and he was still an awesome physical specimen.

Read his book and it's apparent he revels in being an underdog and doesn't like being a big favourite to win.

And as for 'beating a faded Mike Tyson', that's rubbish. Tyson is 4 years younger and Holyfield was a 25-1 underdog for the fight. The Ring magazine thought he would lose in round 1 and there were fears for his life.

I suspect he always had the beating of Tyson, mentally and physically.
