"Factory Girl" was a real travesty in regards to the real story of Edie Sedgwick. The sad thing is, I have known a few girls who have gone absolutely kooky over Edie after seeing that film.

I loved this parody, I love edie sedgwick and andy warhol, the movie, there's enough being said! If you know what the real edie was like you notice they made tons of mistakes in the movie I just think every girl who went nuts on factory girl missed the point of edie sedgwick SHE WAS HERSELF She was original and never copied anything from anyone.

For anyone making fun of the girl for doing the accent the way she did. ES was born in Cali but had a deep Massachusetts family history. The upper middle class of New England do have a tendency to sound slightly English. (hmm? New England, where the English settled? How could that be?)

although edie's life was far from pathetic, i adore edie. but i have seen people who do this with everyone from the past of pop culture. the same girl who was obsessed with edie tried to be john lennon....i had to ditch her.
