I really enjoyed this movie, it was awesome. And know when you say it I can see how it's a "parody" of Taxi Driver. Is it meant to be that or is it just coincidental?

Maybe you should follow the plot line of the film. Rogen's character is bi-polar in the film, and the films events follow his emotions and moods, sometimes happy and sometimes sad. And its supposed to be weird because this film is a diluted parody of Taxi Driver.

This must have been a movie for guys only, do you think? I think only men can appreciate this kind of humor. I'm thinking that's who their target audience was.

I don't like sex and the city either, it's lame too, nice try. You would truly have to be an idiot to actually find this movie the least bit entertaining or you're easily amused like a toddler.
