I'll cut the rubber into circular pieces. I just need a rubber pad to avoid metal to metal contact between the mounting surfaces. On production cars, thick soft rubber is used to rid vibration for driver comfort.

Looks like it is coming along really nice. Tire rubber might work. But you never know. Always have a back up plan in place. Great Video. Take Care.
