Today, i tested the NasaWing (a NasaStar 7 sqm from born-kite.de ) on zero length lines, i.e. flown directly on handles. I used my new Trailskates - and i must say they work quite fine, although the straps that go around your boots are not the best solution. they are relatively uncomfy. maybe i will mount skiboots same way as carlTB did.
wind was very gusty - ranging from 10 - 20 knots (!!) . the nasawing proved to be nice and stable, but sits deep in the windwindow, so i was loosing ground.
maybe with better technique and more constant wind i might be able to hold ground or try to get upwind.
but not today in those fluctuating winds.
