Yep, they come form East LA, but they also had to make a name for themselves by doing roots rock at the Whiskey and the Roxy in the early 1980s in West Hollywood, they'd open for the Blasters and also for the Plugz. They were booed off the stage back in 1980 by a punk crowd when they opened for Public Image Ltd, but they were playing huasteca (mexican folk) music, so they kinda were playing the worng music for that one gig. They paid their dues to get where thay are now.
He has to wear shades cause he's so damn cool, it might melt your face off if he made eye contact with you.
