  • animal of a tractor compared to the old fiat 80-90 or even a 110-90 that i used to drive!!!

  • @zzirSnipzz1 Now your talking :) Never had the pleasure of getting my ass in the seat

of a proper loading shovel on a pit ! I do like tractor / front buckrake combo, But only

    ever used a 416, So a boys toy compaired to 434 :)

  • @bertybollox69 need 434 jcb with great big fold down

  • @JCB411abuser Fair enough, Every days a school day :)

  • @bertybollox69 lad go back and read up yer ag-science book, when you are putting in silage the bacteria is using oxygen from within and outside the pit to rot the grass, soon as the oxygen inside is gone it doesn't cause anymore harm, but obviously it can draw far more(unlimited) air from outside while you're filling the clamp, so you need you get the pit in and covered as soon as possible to make good quality silage, so unless you covering as you go speed is more important.

  • @bertybollox69 for such a smart and experienced buckrake man, you missed that this must only be the start of the pit, looks like second cut going ontop of first cut, you can see the different silage as he is climbing, so i'd say who the hell cares aslong as it's going in, only the top needs to be level

  • @thehillbillyfarmer up in glasgow, sunny scotland!!

  • Where you based mate. good vid 10/10

  • @GEO900RGE just been on your website, you've got some very NICE kit :) but how much of it do you own, and how much of it is on finance?

  • @GEO900RGE We've got a Jaguar 850, Which is plenty fast enough in some of the shite pits i do,

Sounds like you've got some nice kit, And your uncle is probably right about being the biggest in S england,

Where i work is what i would call "Glorified farming" not contracting :)
