  • twist it 8 times? i can only do it about 4 1/2. now it won't slip out when i hit the release unless i pull it out or it is load making it heavier so it would drop out.

  • @blaziankhmer Eight notches (there are six notches in one full revolution), not eight full revolutions.

  • helpful video...ever consider doing a video on cleaning the 10 22 WITHOUT disassembling, as all the others are.

  • @jimmbo13 Disassembling the rifle itself is simplicity itself: remove one screw, push two pins to remove the trigger group, and then the bolt and spring come out with no tools. .22LR tends to be really dirty, so disassembling the rifle to clean it makes sense.

  • This guy is blessed with a Golden Radio Voice...lol

  • @dvr4fun Thanks. I actually used to do radio several years ago, but it's been a long time. I appreciate the kind words.

  • Thank you, very nice video. I wasn't sure how to adjust the spring for tension.

The music is much better than the "rock" on many videos. Nice job.

  • 11 people must like dirty malfunctioning guns

  • @GCatalan702 This likely from someone deafened by pounding rock music. Obviously at least coarsened in manners by it.

HeyPete, I've come back to review this video several times these past few years when I clean clips. It's extremely well done--precise, informative, lucid. THanks for the effort.

  • @JerryCphoto i had to watch it again and smack myself for thinking it was 8 full turns.

  • The background music is fucking annoying and makes it hard to hear you!

  • @blaziankhmer 8 "notches" for the 6 sided nut that is 1 & 1/3 turns

  • big praise to you fella, just purchased a secondhand ruger, it fired CCI subsonics without any jams, but the mag jammed couple times, watched your video and took mine apart, the insides were swimming in oil, grit and small piece of wood!! anyway, all clean, dry and works and feels like a new item

  • Great video thanks.

  • I needed this information to clean several filthy 10/22 magazines.

    THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

  • Dude, this video is awesome. Thank you so much for sharing this. The instrumental music kicks ass
