The Lynyrd Skynyrd classic arranged by me for viola and violin. I finally got video editing software so you can see both the violin and viola parts. DO try this at home!

@musician5142 The first pass of audio and video is recorded into the Mac's built-in mic and iSight camera by Quicktime Player. I have a click track generated by Logic (you could use Garage Band) in an ear bud. The first pass audio is exported to Logic. Then the second pass is recorded by Quicktime Player while Logic plays back the first pass plus click into my ear bud. Then the two recordings are merged in Final Cut Express.  Thanks for watching.

So how many hours did it take to edit the video and get the tracks lined up right?

I don't remember number of hours, but I was using Final Cut Express for the first time and learning and exploring features of the program. I would think a proficient video editor could do it much quicker. Thanks for watching!
