omg i've never seen a pig so skinny, she didn't deserve to die, none of the pigs do

I don't regret getting my two piggies from a pet shop because if I had gone to a rescue center I wouldn't have gotten those exact piggies :( But I didn't know about this kind of g/pig rescue center when I bought mine. Recently I lost one of them. Cause of death- unknown. She was flat and her heart was giving out. She was only 3. Her sister become lonely. So i adopted Raymond, from the ACS. I love him, and I am going to adopt more (from ACS) R.I.P Beamish <3

She's a strong little girl :3.. For raising three babies. That's what mothers are for, taking care of their young no matter what's wrong with them.

Poor Millie she deserved so much better then the way thse scumbags at that shop treated her, i'm so glad her babies made it. Mother guinea pigs are so wonderful. We took on 3 adult female piggies from a pet shop, they had been used by a breeder and a few days after we got them home the shop owner said that one was actually pregnant and demanded that we bring her back in I told him to go to hell! and a week later she had 3 beautiful baby girls and we kept them all.
RIP sweet Millie.
Just an update on this Pet store. Sadly still they receive many guinea pigs each week in poor condition. Volunteers and members of the public have rescued many guinea pigs from this shop and other times we have reported directly to the rspca for inspection. Sadly still even in 2010 NOTHING has changed. Small animals simply do not have the law or the voice and we are battling hard among other animal welfare orgs to try to change this.
