Very interesting. I know i have the genetics for celiac disease. I've had celiac disease for about 12 years. When i was 18 i got diagnosed with Leukemia. At the end of the treatment I had a stemcell transplantation. Because I have new Stemcells I might not have celiac disease anymore. I've been eating gluten for 6 months now and theres still no sign of celiac disease. I have no symptons and my blood doesnt show anything either. It looks as if I am cured. But i'm afraid it will return some day
from what i've found, the majority of people who have a wheat intolerance, are not celiac, ie, wheat irritates them, but they do not have the auto-immune portion.
