Champion Balut Eating Demo by American Missionary.

American missionary, Mitch Metzger, gives 101 Balut (18 day old duck fetus) Eating Demonstration. Knowing how to open eat, hold it, suck the juices out, and eating the balut are important to avoid making a mess. Since the balut is often eaten at bus stops, beside the street or in the evening hours, all of this proper "technique" would be important.

Not mentioned in the video is that fact that balut can be purchased in most Asian grocery stores in America and Canada in the bigger cities where there is a market for Asian foods.

I discovered the balut found in stores in the West are often produced in factories in Canada and are more uniform (exactly the same size etc) than what we get in the Philippines. In the Philippines, sometimes in the same basket, you will have mixed together 10,12, 14, 18 day old baluts which range in size and texture.
