Dilandau...Van...they are like Gaea's id and superego. Dilandau was so frightening with his unadulterated thirst for slaughter...yet I as the series progressed I found myself wanting to see more and more of him. I began to crave his cruelty, and it was strangely fascinating witnessing how all the other characters interacted with him. Kinda crazy to think that originally he and Folken were going to be a single character...
