  • This IS as good as it gets...and it is GREAT! He is by far the most exciting and masculine male dancer in the world today. WOW.

  • .Whenever I watch the cubans they are posessed with such life and brio. They never disappoint me.Ever.Cuba is a poor country and the orchestra probably is missing instruments. They create miracles with very little.Fantastic schooling.

  • That was an amaizing performance. They are just great together.!

  • Acosta is just...a nature's wonder, has Nureyev's grace of a panther and musicality plus Baryshnikov's physicality and technique and Vasiliev's ability to inherit a role.

    and she's so sexy.

  • It's wonderful to see two dancers so well-matched in powers and ease. His virtuosity is colossal, but hers is right up there with his --and tehy are both capable of considerable delicacy -- I love, for example, her supported pirouettes with the working leg spiralling down to sous-sus. There's nothing showy about hem, but the transitions are beautiful and logivcal and prepare beautifully for hte next step. When firepower is called for, she certainly delivers, as in the redoubled fouettes.

  • Wow. Is he good or isn't he good?. What a techinque, artistry. he trully delivers. She has pointes of iron and her fuettes are like for ever and super but super well delivered. NO questions asked about the Cuban Ballet School. I like the idea of this dancers being latins it shows in the way of dancing and also their attitutes.

  • I saw carlos acosta at the international ballet festival in London, Wow, I was so proud of being cuban like no one could believe. He was unbelievable.

  • why is it in black and white?

  • magníficos los fuettes de viengsay

  • Extraordinario y sublime, Bravissimo

  • No puedo creer como gira ella, es fantastica y hay que quitarse el sobrero ante el ballet nacional de cuba. esplendidos. si algun amigo cubano tiene a la argentina liliana belifiore y lo puede poner en la red agradecida.

  • Carlos Acosta, he's superman.

Viengsay has incredible balances, turns like a top, has personality but the arabesque with the hip open (ala sec-besque) bothers me. It distorts the hip line and turns in the supporting leg. I think it is a style of the whole company. NYCB can get away with it in their neoclassic repertoire but it doesn't look right in these classics.
