Women Pray in Men's Only Section of Washington, D.C. Mosque

On February 20, 2010, a small group of Muslim women prayed in the mens section of the Islamic Center of Washington. Asra Nomani reported from inside the mosque. Mosque officials asked the women to go to the section designated for women, and ultimately called the police when the women refused.

Ok 1. The title of this video says that they were praying in the men's only section of the masjid. This means there was a Sister's section. These sisters probably didn't know that there was a separate section or they would have gone there. Sometimes the woman's area isn't easy to find if you are not familiar with the Masjid. Maybe they were from a different country. 2. The person who filmed this instead of alerting them of where the Sisters' section was....shame on you!

Personally, I like praying with ladies only better. But the Prophet NEVER said men and women should pray in separate sections. and you can hear better when you are in same area.
