just park the car off hwy nine between cowell park and felton. a good spot is at a bend in the hwy and a large dirt pullout usually tree stumps are there.

or on bike from wilder across empire grade road...

just keep riding away from the ocean and you can't miss it

No kidding, they are trying to shut down trails to bikers and keep them open for horses??? Horses weigh more like 30x a mtn bike., and they can shit all over the trail and can't really be expected to pick it up? Anyone seen a used horse trail? It's trashed! Mtn. bikers are the ones that know how to build trails, and are the majority of users.
