Please pick up a history book,as not to look like a total dimwit before making comments.It wasn'r 'a few white slave traders' but a WHOLE MACHINE.The British Empire (look into Liverpool and bristol especially),Spain,Portugal,The Netherlands all played a part.

Also look into the use of munitions as a way of subduing and enslaving people.

@MickeyFaster all races have evil, but mainly who is the race that invades other countries,rape, murder and steal people's lands. They exploit other countries, and the people, they steal countries resources, they create wars to keep their evil and greed going, this is white men doing this, white men in congress, a bunch of criminal minded white men in suits. @jojo24love To be honest, that statement isn't complely fair. My ancestors, for example, were indetured servants from ireland and didn't have slaves. I would dare say that ALL races have evil and there isn't one that has the exclusive rights to it. In the Civil War, there were many whites that died on the Union side with the premise of emanicpating slaves. Slavery was not exclusive to that era. It has historically been around and unfortunately still is around. It is a sad state of affairs.

@kd5eej Your crazy if you think slavery still doesn't effect people today. It will always be a problem. When they set slaves free after generation and generations of slavery they threw them in ghettos with no education, ruined their families, gave them no sense of their heritage or pride and just left them there. Those slaves just had kids, those kids had kids, and so on. 150 years later people criticize them for their lack of education, poverty, and etc. What did you expect?

Bringing up slavery over and over and over does nothing more than instill more racism and segregated beliefs. There are no white people alive anymore who owned slaves and there are no blacks left alive who were slaves, so why feel butthurt about something that didn't happen to you and try to make white people feel guilty for something they didn't do?
