Wikipedia: Zoroastrianism- "water (apo, aban) and fire (atar,adar) are agents of ritual purity. and the associated purification ceremonies are considered the basis of life...water and fire respectively are the second and last primordial elements to have been created, and scripture considers fire to have it's origen in the waters." Food for thought. These People have been described as Animists; and I personaly see similarites with Vedic Aryan Beliefs; however, Greek origens fine with me.

Beautiful Tradition; imagine what the world would lose if those marauding Islamist & Christian evangelical scum where to have converted these unique and precious people. Macedonia or Greece should offer Protection to these people.
