I had this machine back in 78 and I LOVED IT.... especially the Tank game...

@BenjaminGoose I would say it's half-decent considering the limited hardware but it could have been better.

Possibly the best racing game I've ever seen (seriously that was bad! no sprite rotation on that system?), though I'm not very familiar with games from that era so maybe they were all like that. I hope you managed to diffuse the bomb in your TV.

@dave4shmups I'm not sure if the VC 4000 or any of the clones were sold outside of Europe. There doesn't seem to be much information about them.

Reminds me a lot of the Atari 2600 in graphics and sound capabilities. You mention control issues, was that with the game or the controller itself? Thanks for the overview, never seen one before. :)

@TheBladeJunker The control issues was with the game. The controllers themselves feel solid and well built.

Great system overview. Air Sea Battle looked like the best game to me aswell.
