"You Take Me Higher" is a joyous, totally infectious dance gem from Rogerseventytwo, who is currently riding high as half of TWR72, the duo behind techno hit "Future Tool" and remixes for Hey Today! (Kitsune) and Teki Latex (Sound Pellegrino).

Amazingly, this irresistible disco house singalong went unsigned for months and months until A-Trak (who had made it a staple of his live sets, both solo and as Duck Sauce with Armand Van Helden) snapped it up for Fool's Gold. "You Take Me Higher" is finally ready to go from a fileshared DJ secret weapon to a true club anthem for the summer.

The single package includes a beefed-up new mix of the title track, along with a futuristic, R&B inspired take from Brooklyn upstart Brenmar (Grizzly), and a massive, deep techno version by Italy's NT89 (Southern Fried). And if that's not enough, it all comes backed by two more Rogerseventytwo originals: the foot stomping "What You Wanna Be" alongside the synth chops and big room boom of "Future Funk."

  • Eurovision 2012

  • what a tune !

  • Very, very nice. Now watch the Magician@ElektricityReims bounce it around for 5 minutes...

  • those kind of songs reminds people that HOUSE IS NOT DEAD!!

  • This song is very good however to be a true breakthru it needs more lyrics, 2 lines isnt good enough. What the DJ has produced is half of a decent track, needs a rethink

  • tout simplement génial !! :)

  • @yipikayee The sample comes from "You are my love" by Sandy Mercer (1978). Ciao

  • @viniciuskmax owoooah....
