@ilive2sing22 Awesome, we did this in my show choir for our ballad, the girl who had the solo is an alto but she can BELT. But this girl does a wonderful job in this video!

It's actually a mezzo part, but Bymyslf74 was correct saying it's a song almost any vocal part can sing. The original singer performed it with a belt, so that makes it harder for sopranos. They usually just sing it without a belt.

@xohsnapp typically this is a soprano part.... but any number of woman could sing it even being an alto because the tessitura isn't very high for this piece. Hope that that helps.
