Before you try anything else, I'm assuming you're using the $14.99 universal component cable from GameStop. That being the case, there is a switch on the box in the middle of the cable. It ships with the switch in the TV position, you want to switch it to the HDTV. Do that, and you should have plenty of Color and 480p goodness. Enjoy
