@ilda221 dear brother/sister if music was not allowed then what about the nasyid which was sung to welcome Rasulullah s.a.w after his completion of the Hijra? nasyids are also considered music it depends on what kind of music as well as ur intention for listening to that music. does it mean that the nasyids & songs by maher zain, raihan & various other artists are all wrong...? what matters most is the intention...& Allah Knows Best =) peace..

@aidawhatever i don't think so...it's true they do sing the qur'an but music's not included.....and IF SO...then i can say that the one who does it, cannot be called a muslim!..I'm sorry to say it in such an agressive way but it's the truth...
