You are probably jumping way too hard.. or you are not getting under the ball enough..

the best thing you can do is try just that part of the flick in isolation.. practice it until you don't flick it way too forward..

I hope that helps.. I will get back into making tutorials soon and will help you guys out much much more with much more in depth tutorials.
