20 Gallon Aquarium - Converting to Planted Tank

My aquarium finished cycling the other day, so I decided it was time to change the gravel to something plants would like better. The fluorescents are preventing me from getting better shots, so I'm working out a way to photograph this better.

Anyway, no plants yet, but I changed over to a better plant substrate and the water still seems cycled! I used around 85% new water, but I've got a large overflow filtration area, which I'm sure has kept the full colony of bacteria from the old water.

The new gravel is way too white, but I'm going to be covering it with other gravel and hopefully some Riccia if I locate some.
