LPPD Cop Endangers 911 Caller, Typical!

Lincoln Park: LPPD Sgt. Robert McFarland shows the sickening behavior of the police at work. You need help in a hurry... you know what to do: grab the phone and dial 911. But what if nobody answered? Or, as our Chief Investigator Steve Wilson shows us, what if they answered, refused to send help and repeatedly hung up the phone?

This is over the 9-1-1 Call and then arresting of the 17 year old girl.

They played the 9-1-1 tapes -- indeed, "Not our Finest Hour".

Steve Wilson states that the officer will be suspended without pay for two weeks and he will be sent for additional training but he will not lose his job.

Karnes states this officer has had several Commendations and does not know why this situation occurred.

The family has an attorney and they are negotiating a settlement with the city.

SGT Robert McFarland, what a fucker, 2 weeks no pay, maybe they should have trained him before he did his job, but I guess that is how police are trained, after they screw up.

I was freaking out one time when I dialed 911. He wasnt looking for clues or even trying to figure out what was wrong. He was just being a dickface loser that hangs up. When somone says there is an emergency they are suppost to drop everything and listen to whats going on! I have a friend that is a cop and even wanted to be one. Its really absurd and shameful to the entire department!! And whats worse of all arresting the person that came in pleading for help? He should lose his job!!!

LOL! This is exactly why there aren't very many male dispatchers. Their fuse is way too short. When phones first became popular in the 1920s, they used male operators and the same thing happened so they had to replace them all with female operators.

At least he was suspended w/out pay for a change!! He should have a permanent note attached to his performance as well,he did not act in a professional manner at all.Of course people are not going to be as polite as at a dinner party in an emergency,police are trained to con trol an emotional out burst.Failed!!! i hope the family sues for poor performance on the police and for unneccessary sress and treament and most importantly,being charged and held for a nonexistent(false,lying)charge­...
