From when Bush was Prez: Since 2001 even with recrd low inflation US fedral spndng has increasd by 28.8% 19.7% in real dollars with nondefense discretionary grwth of 35.7% 25.3% in real $ the highst rate of government growth since the prsidncies of Nixon and Johnson. This resulted in the lrgst budget deficits in US history, an estimated 520 billion in fiscal year 2004. The projctd spndng for 2005 is a conservtive estimte, since it doesnt inclde at least 50 billion for the 2005 cost of the war

I'm voting libertarian next election. I was never a Dem but the Republican party has lost their way. They don't stand for small government anymore, and they're too worried trying to appease the "Religious Right."

i wish big media would have spent more time on alternative candidates such as mr barr. the usa is in BIG trouble right now, and more in the future. the value of your dollar has decreased in a huge way, and its directly effecting us here- in canada. that trillion and a bit of bailout money is just paper, the fed reserve doesnt have to prove it has gold to backup that money. so your dollar will continue to fall- spending MUST be controled and soon, or the usa wont be the superpower in 10years.

Barr, you make me sick! You called for Clinton's impeachment before you got busted by Larry Flynt for the same damn thing you accused Clinton! When is the Lib party going to stop housing rejects from the Democrat & Republican parties and find a real candidate that can win? Who's next to join, John Edwards?? Sen.Mike Gravel should have won the nomination. It is disgusting that Barr became the nominee and this is why no one takes the 3rd party seriously anymore!
