ED - September 9th 2009 (Psrt 1)

Debbie (Charley Webb) gives in to temptation and goes to Michaels (Jamie Belman) hotel. As soon as she arrives she pushes him into the bedroom and starts kissing him passionately as they fall onto the bed. Afterwards, she tells him she knows he wont end things with the other woman but shell stay with him as long as they can continue to have fun. She reiterates that theyll have to keep it a secret from Cain (Jeff Hordley), hes dangerous and he already hates Michael. Will they be able to keep their affair a secret?

Faye (Kim Thomson) and Cain continue to flirt with each other and its clear Mark (Maxwell Caulfield) is uneasy as he witnesses them getting closer. When Maisie (Alice Coulthard) confirms his suspicions that something is going on between them and Cain threatens Maisie. Mark goes to Fayes house and tells her to tell her boyfriend to stay away from his family. Faye is incredulous but shes pleased that she seems to be rattling Mark. In the pub later, she flirts with Cain, intent on making Mark jealous. Is she using Cain? Will Mark rise to the bait?

Meanwhile, Carl (Tom Lister) arrives at the vets to see Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and tells her he loves her. She asks him to leave her alone but he tells her he knows thats not what she wants - she just cant bring herself to hurt Paddy (Dominic Brunt). Chas asserts that she feels safe with Paddy, but when she fails to look Carl in the eye and tell him she doesnt love him, he pleads with her to be honest to herself and Paddy.

Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) feels pushed out as Ashley (John Middleton) and Sally (Sian Reeves) are in high spirits after cricket practice and get closer as they talk tactics for the match. As Ashley and Sally reminisce about old times, Laurel makes it clear its time for Sally to leave. Ashleys aware of Laurels tone and reminds her there is only one more day until the match is over and Vincent and Sally are out of their lives. Laurels relieved, but will Vincent and Sally be so easy to get out of their lives?

Also, Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) is convinced shes about to be sacked when Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) arrives at the house for a word and is shocked when she tells her that her job is safe and she should take proper maternity leave and enjoy being a mum for a while.

Marlon (Mark Charnock) continues to get wound up by Moira (Natalie J Robb).

I know that Michael has someone else but is it just me or does anybody else love Debbie and Michael as a couple? Your right, it did show a different side to Natasha.
