I recently got the Venom Lab 2 Training dvd, some of this rigging is also on it.
Nathan sounds like he's teaching a bunch of 5 year olds. The jokes are not even funny.
Not to mention the crackling moaning voice he uses.
Do me a favor and let Pablo Vazquez redo this Rigging DVD...

Yes, it is a bit confusing, but the DVD rocks. It's the clearest education for anyone who wants to learn how to really understand rigging in general and be able to solve many many problems and limitations in rigging for animation in Blender. YES!

Dell's are also considered rather fine workstations, but as far as I can tell, no dual xeon setups as of now.
I also believe they only use either RedHat or Debian Linux systems, unless you are a tux veteran, you might not prefer that.
Boxx are workstations specially catered towards CGI, they even have dual six core xeon systems! but I have never heard anything about Linux support.
If you do not however care about support, you can install and configure it by your self.
