@InKa4484 What do you mean Apocalyptica isn't any good? They literally invented cello metal and they're my chief inspiration right now so don't go shooting off your mouth like that!

I think its more just the nature of the instrument. There are no "exact" fingerings, so it can cause an incredibly slight variation in pitch between players, even if they are in tune before. Some notice that "off" quality more than others, and admittedly, it takes some getting used to. But it's certainly part of what makes a cello mourn so well.
