And for tourists: Fresno is a good basis for trips to anywhere in California. Good enough for me and I am from Berlin / Germany and made Fresno my home. Btw. the only thing mentioned by a German tourist guide about Fresno was the convention center and the Zoo, that's better than what it said about Bakersfield/CA, which is nothing hehe.

What places are there in Cleveland? Fresno/CA has the same "issue" and I am straight forward with people.
Fresno is a great place to live and work, living and housing cost are low (compared to the Bay Area or L.A.), no traffic problems and plenty of space. It's a fun place on the weekend when you do something with friends. It's not the "place" that makes a good night, but the people you have around you.
