LOL I came to this video because of the endpaper mitts too! I like this better than the other italian tubular cast on tutorials in which only one hand holds the yarn because its easier to keep track of which stitch you're on. With the other method I keep losing track of which side to go under, thumb or forefinger...
Purpleinkling, I have/had the same problem about those endpaper mitts. I tried a regular cuff, but it just looked awful. Then, I tried EJ's video, which left me clueless. This is the best tubular cast on video I've found.
