Street League, one of The FA's chosen charity partners for 2010, was paid a special visit recently by the England Manager Fabio Capello on their last match-day tournament of the year.
Street League helps to transform the lives of disadvantaged young people and adults in the UK using the power of football. The charity has developed a structured football and education programme that helps build confidence, improve health, extend social networks, and develop skills towards long-term education, employment and independence for many teenages across the UK.
Capello spent time during his visit learning more about the work Street League do and was also able to view many of the matches that took place during the tournament. The England Manager was also on hand at the end of afternoon to present medals and trophies to the winning teams and the runners up of both the plate and cup competitons.
