What I did last month...

So last month was Christmas.
That special time of year where we all settle our differences and share a smile or two with each other however possible and whilst most people had buying presents & wrapping paper at the top of their to do list I found myself feeling extra festive at the end of November 2011 so I decided that although I probably need to get presents and cards out the way too that I would set myself an extra special mission!

This mission was to make an EPIC Christmas video :) (hence the name lol) I wanted to make something extra special that would make people smile on christmas day when they find themselves on facebook checking out how everyone is celebrating christmas.

It started with an idea which was to send a christmas message to people whilst at the same time having a laugh making the video. The idea grew into a plan which involved:

Buying party poppers and light up balloons.... & Glowsticks!
Digging out all the festive gear i could find!
Having one of my friends dress up as santa and fight me
Making 29 signs all for the purposes of holding up in the video
Dressing up as santa myself
Going out into the streets of Bristol to ask the general public to be in the christmas video (this resulting in security guards being scrooges and moving me on in many cases lol)
Looking a little bit mad lip synching whilst being filmed in a public shopping centre
Breaking phones
Bothering over 400 of my friends on facebook personally to be in the video aswell as setting up a facebook page dedicated to it (and a youtube channel)
Having some of the coolest people ever star in and help film the video!

Just to say here that this video is slightly different from the version uploaded on christmas day and the reason for that is purely because I was pushed for time slightly as far as editing the original upload of the video was concerned as alot of the plans to shoot festive footage had to get changed and moved to different days. After I uploaded the video I decided to fine-tune the bits I would have done if I'd have had more time. So amateur as it is, here is The EPIC Christmas Video! (tweaked edition)

Huge thank you to everyone who helped with this :) It was the first time I ever set out to make a video in this way and I enjoyed every second of it! So I hope you did too and also that the majority of people who watch this realise that the overall moral of the video is that Santa IS real so don't question the people who tell you different ;)
