Yeah, I'll admit I took it very slow this time. I wasn't moving with anywhere near the speed I was when I broke my rib. But, I really needed to "get back up on the horse" per se. Forgot how much I love skating.
If you look further up the hill past where I started in all of these videos, you see it curve to the left. About 150 to 200 yards after it curves to the left, it reaches its peak. That's where I started skating on the run where I broke my rib. I had a lot more time to get up speed and had a lot more confidence in my carving. So, I was really moving when I got to the bottom of that hill.
Where I turn onto another street in this video is where I checked for cars and bailed a few feet later.
