A pop song from the sixties. A great tune which has been covered by a multitude of singers, Julie London, Amy Winehouse etc and also some jazz stars. my Backing track is also available on this BOPPPPER channel.
Nice! I hear a definite Stan Getz influence in places on this one.Have you heard the Art Tatum Ben Webster quartet album? Their version of All The Things You Are is head and shoulders above any other version. I wore out the LP record version I got in the 50s.
@Johnflugelhorn I've had a listen to the album you mention, on Spotify. I agree it is sublime. And Ben Webster's tone is gorgeous. So different from Getz. That's what's so great about the tenor sax, it really is a very personal voice, with the ability to be altered in many ways to suit your mood and the emotion you want to express. Like a singer.
