About Town "IN:SITE Park East Corridor Project"

The City of Milwaukee Channel 25 produced a segment on IN:SITE's Park East Corridor project.

Fostering temporary public art in Milwaukee County since the spring of 2006, a Milwaukee based arts group named IN:SITE is working with the City of Milwaukee, Milwaukee County and private property owners to transform the Park East Corridor. The temporary art project will culminate in 11 installations on sixteen blocks of the corridor. The City of Milwaukee Arts Board initiated this project by voting unanimously to provide over $11,000 for artist stipends. The project invites pedestrians, bikers, people who ride the bus, and drivers to explore the Park East Corridor. Thirteen local artists have come forward with bold, diverse projects.
