Michael Joseph Jackson was born on August 29, 1958 and died in Los Angeles, June 25, 2009. It was a famous singer, songwriter, dancer, multi-instrumentalist and producer in the U.S.. He began singing and dancing at the age of five, starting at the age of eleven professional career as a singer of the Jackson 5. It started right after a solo career in 1971, remaining as a member of the group. Recognized in subsequent years as the King of Pop (King Of Pop), five of their studio albums have become best sellers worldwide of all time: Off the Wall (1979), Thriller (1982), Bad (1987), Dangerous ( 1991) and HIStory (1995). He launched a solo career in the early 1970s, even the Motown record label responsible for the success of the group formed by him and his brothers. In adulthood, he recorded the popular and best-selling album in history, Thriller. Jackson is often cited as "The greatest black icon of all time," and with great importance for breaking racial barriers, opening doors to the domination of black music in popular music, and people like Oprah Winfrey and Barack Obama get the status it has today. In early 1980, became a dominant figure in popular music singer and the first african American to receive constant display on MTV. The popularity of his music videos airing on MTV, such as "Beat It" "Billie Jean" and "Thriller" is credited as the cause of transformation of the video clip in the form of music promotion and also to have become the new channel so famous. Videos such as "Black or White," "Scream," "Earth Song", among others, kept the high turnover of videos of Jackson during the 1990s. He was the creator of a whole new style of dance, using especially the feet. With their stage performances and music videos, Jackson popularized a number of complicated dance techniques, such as Robot, "The Lean" (45 º), the famous "Moonwalk". Its different and unique style of singing and dancing, as well as the sound of his songs influenced a number of artists in the fields of hip hop, pop, R & B and rock. Jackson was also a notable philanthropist and humanitarian, donating millions of dollars throughout his career to charitable causes through the Dangerous World Tour, charity singles and maintenance focused on centers of 39 charities, through his own foundation. However, other aspects of his personal life, like changing your appearance, mainly because of skin color to vitiligo generated significant controversy as to undermine his public image. In 1993 he was accused of child abuse, but the investigation was shelved due to lack of evidence and Jackson was not the court. After he married and fathered three children, all of which have generated public controversy. In 2005, Jackson was tried and acquitted of allegations of child abuse. One of the few artists to come twice a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, his other awards include several records certified by Guinness World Records, including "The greatest artist of all time" and one for Thriller as the world's best-selling album of all times - fifteen Grammy Awards and 41 songs to get to the top of the charts as a solo performer - and sales that exceed 750 million units worldwide, with some businessmen from Sony has a staggering record of more than 1 billion, of which the artist more seller of all time.
